Surfing and a Seal

Jon and I went in together on a longboard so w could take the kids surfing. Kids did great and we even saw a seal sunbathing!!

Lucas' 2nd Birthday

Lucas turned TWO!!!

As a treat, I brought out a bag of jelly beans and asked him how old he was. He said, "NINE!!!" We celebrated by having the whole Asato clan over for a "critter" party including a gummy worm cake, water balloon activities, pool fun and fun times with all the cousins. Lukie loved it!

Easter

First Easter on Maui.

We did an egg hunt with our neighborhood, one at our church and a final one with the Asato clan at great grandma's house. Riley said that Easter should be every Sunday because we celebrate Jesus is Alive every Sunday. A few minutes later she said we should probably celebrate it everyday and not just on Sunday's.

Celebration = Egg Hunt = lots and lots of candy.

Locks of Love

When #3 Lucas was born, I grew 12 inches of my hair out & donated it to Locks of Love (organization that makes wigs for cancer patients). Riley liked the idea and asked to do this with me for baby #4. So, here are before and after pics of the two of us. I never used to care much what my hair looked like but now that I have SUPER short hair, I DO care. Longer is better but I want to be a good example for my little girl so it's worth it!!

Stand Up Paddle Downwinder

A friend invited me to do a Stand Up Paddle from Paia Bay to Kanaha Beach. Never did this before on open water but thought I'd give it a try. When I got out there, the waves seemed pretty big and strong and I had trouble just standing up on my board. One of the guards switched boards with me and the rest is history! It was an amazing experience!! So cool! I think I've found a new sport to enjoy and a new community of really neat people!

Levi's First Hike

We took Levi on his 1st hike!! Hoapili Trail in Makena. It was a beautiful day and he did great!! Almost 4 weeks old and he was a trooper! Was so nice for Ryan and I to get out and enjoy God's beautiful creation. Take a look!
