Kids were on Fall Break this week so Grandpa & Grandma booked a room at the Makena Resort and invited all of us to join them!! It was a BIG and beautiful room with ocean, pool, courtyard views. We kayaked, paddleboarded, watched movies and spent most of our time between the pool, jacuzzi and beach.
Malia bruised her forehead playing around with all the kids. To make matters worse, we got tipped over by a huge wave while returning to shore with our kayak. She smashed her face in the sand and the kayak ran over her....she was a brave little girl and everyone ran to her rescue.
The kids pretended to sleep in the hallway while waiting for us. They were laughing more than sleeping.
